Privacy Policy — Balance Personal Health

The Balance Group Co Ltd (“Balance,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Balance Personal Health, a private wellness application used by a limited number of authorised Balance members.
This Privacy Policy explains how information obtained through the WHOOP API is collected, used, stored and protected.
Information we collect
With the user’s authorisation, Balance Personal Health may access:
WHOOP profile information
Body measurements
Recovery information
Sleep information
Physiological cycles and strain
Workouts and activity information
Heart rate, heart-rate variability and other measurements provided by WHOOP
Authentication information required to maintain the authorised WHOOP connection
How we use information
WHOOP information is used only for private wellness review, analysis and personal health insights for authorised users.
It is not used for advertising, employee monitoring, insurance decisions, automated employment decisions or unrelated commercial purposes.
Balance Personal Health does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. Users should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional regarding medical concerns or decisions.
Sharing of information
We do not sell, rent or use personal health information for advertising.
Information is not disclosed to unrelated third parties unless:
The user has consented;
Disclosure is required by law; or
A service provider requires limited access to operate or secure the application and is subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
Data storage and security
Information is stored in access-controlled systems intended only for authorised users. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect personal information.
WHOOP authentication credentials and tokens are treated as confidential and are not intentionally disclosed publicly.
Data retention and deletion
Information is retained only for as long as it is reasonably required for the purposes described in this policy.
A user may disconnect their WHOOP account at any time. Disconnecting the account stops future collection but may not automatically delete information previously collected.
Users may request access, correction or deletion of their stored information by contacting us at the email address below.
User choices
Participation is voluntary. Users may withdraw their authorisation through the application or their WHOOP account settings, where available.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the application or its data practices materially change. The current version will be published on this page with its effective date.
